Youth Services Idea Starter: Leadership Academy

The Cumberland, RI, Office of Children, Youth and Learning is sponsoring the Cumberland Leadership Academy (a Hasbro Summer Learning Initiative program) for students entering Grades Six through Nine.

The full-day program lasts for six weeks (Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-2:45 PM) and is designed to offer reality-TV type challenges, recreational and skill building activities, self-reflection, field trips, service learning projects, and opportunities to meet leaders in the community.

The cost is $195.00 once an application has been accepted. Some financial aid is available.
