Watertown Community Education, a self-sustaining program of the Watertown, MA, Public Schools, was established to provide quality learning and enrichment experiences for adults and children. One of its current offerings for adults is a Stone Carving workshop, with two options:

In its one-day Saturday workshop, participants will have the opportunity to carve their own stone. They will be guided through the process of looking into the rock for imagery, carving into material, planning and forming a sculpture, and using tools. All materials will be provided. It is being offered on two separate Saturdays in April (9″30 AM-3:00 PM). The fee is $125.00.

A similar workshop, with more detail, is being offered over ten weekdays (options – Mondays, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM; Tuesdays, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM; Tuesdays, 7:00-1o:00 PM; and Wednesdays, 7:00-1o:00 PM). The fee is $515.00.
