The Westerly, RI, Public Schools are offering incoming high school freshmen an opportunity to participate in Pathways in Technology Early College (P-TECH), an initiative designed to be a merging of a high school and associate’s degree program that is a collaboration of advanced manufacturing industry partners.
P-TECH is a high school plus two years program, grades 9 to 14. Within this six-year time frame, students may earn a high school diploma plus an Associate of Science in Manufacturing Technology degree. The program is designed to also provide skills and experience students need to step seamlessly into available jobs in the Advanced Manufacturing industry.
